glorious color

I am trying to think of how I can incorporate my flower photos into a quilt.  I don't have any particularly good ideas at the moment.  I'm sure something will come to me though.  Until I do think of something I will just enjoy the beauty of the flowers.

    You could print them on silk or cotton, then piece them into a crazy quilt. The intense, saturated colors in the flowers would look wonderful with coordinating dupioni silk!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
