Illumination

  I have belonged to the Royal City Calligraphy guild for six years now.  Over the years I have taken a number of workshops.  Some are more successful than others.  The teachers are always kind and generous.  I've been organizing the notes, supply lists etc. from these workshops.  This is a sample from an illumination workshop I took a couple of years ago.  I quite like it.  It's unusual for me to produce something worthwhile in a workshop.  How can you go wrong when working with real gold though? 
It feels really good to have things organized.  I will have to post some pictures of what I have done in the way of organizing.
