take a stitch Tuesday

showed how to do it a while back.  I've been meaning to try it ever since she showed it.  The top picture shows it done with some sari silk.  It really doesn't work.  I ended up taking out the sari silk.  Learn from my mistake.  Below I tried it with silk thread.  That works much better.  It's a simple stitch and I really like it.  I will definitely use it in my crazy quilting.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
