fun trims

A while ago a friend took me shopping at a local Indian store.  On one side there were groceries (yummy simosas) on the other side of the store were fabrics, trims and clothing.  We found a huge bag of trims for practically nothing.  They were gorgeous and I figured I could use them in my crazy quilting.  I haven't done that yet but still plan to.  I did however use some of the pretty trim on one of my journal pages.  Cool idea, eh?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
