where has the time gone?

I thought that I wouldn't have much time to post on my blog in December.  I ended up posting more than I thought I would.  January is slipping past rather quickly though.  I am not sure where the first few days of the year have gone.  
Last week I had two of my nieces over to play with our cameras.  It was great to spend time with such lovely, creative young women!  I am blessed to have nieces that enjoy spending time with me!  The are wonderful young women and I enjoy spending time with them.
We were playing with black light and macro lenses.  What fun!  Pictured above is a shot that I am pleased to have taken.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
