tempera paint and hand carved stamp

I bought some tempera paint pucks  a few months ago and I really like using them in my journals.  The colors blend and mix so nicely.  They dry quickly and the colors are very vibrant.  Pretty great  and they are cheap too!

I also used a hand carved stamp on this page.  Since I have done some rearranging in my studio I have better access to my stamps.  I really would like to start using them more now that they are easier to get at.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
