painted tissue paper

I painted the tissue paper with inexpensive metallic tempera paint.  I really like the look of it.  The paper appears sheer but metallic.  It is really hard to capture a digital image of it.  I am not exactly sure how I will use it so it will get stashed away for now.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
