retry on bead journal project


I just wasn't happy with my bead journal project.  I had to do some more beading on it.  Often I feel that a piece isn't finished.  I am always learning and growing and that causes me to think of better ways to do things.  There are times when I just call a piece finished because I am tired of working on it or I have lost interest.

    Your colors are beautiful! I understand what you mean about losing interest in projects. I think that means we've learned what we needed to learn and we can move on to something else.

    I just love that fabric - what gorgeous colors - and I like even more the beading you did....especially the added on bits. I am like you on that....thinking always that maybe there should be more....
    It's a lovely piece - I love it!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
