February bead journal

This year I am stitching on photos of rust and pealing paint.  I really enjoying having a preplanned  idea.  Of course I don't know what I am going to stitch each month but I do have the base.  A heart made perfect sense to me for this month.  I really like the idea of cutting a little something away from the photo.  I may have to try that again.  Thanks for looking!

This is such a COOL idea! The effect is so unique and your color and bead choices here are perfect.
I used to visit your blog all the time. I don't know what happened that I haven't been here in a while, but I know that I have really enjoyed your posts this year and your "rebellious" take on the challenges this year. Very inspirational work.

It's a great idea. I can imagine it as part of a journal page, with a fun contrasting color behind the cutout!

Like Carol, I haven't been here for a while... It's great to be back. Love your idea. Rust is so compelling. I wonder why that is? The heart is fabulous too!

What a neat idea! I like the combination of rust and a heart. I can imagine lots of meaning there.
