Happy Mother's Day

I managed to keep this beautiful planter filled with flowering plants alive for a week!  Yay me!  The colors are so vibrant and beautiful.  I am certain that my Mom will enjoy them all summer long.  Even though her memory isn't what it used to be she still remembers to take care of her plants.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
