Am I the only one who gets excited about garbage?

Check out all these wonderful gears!  I love them!  I am excited to use them to sunprint on fabric!  They are the coolest.  One of my son's friends works in a bike shop and got these for me.  They just throw them away!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
