Queen Street shopping in Toronto

Check out some of the gorgeous fabric I found in Toronto.  Shopping on Queen Street is so much fun. More fun when I do it with my sister mind you!  Last year when she and I were there I commented that it would be really cool to be able to purchase the samples they had hanging in front of some of the fabrics.  Well, this past week what did I find?  Some of those small sample packs were for sale!  So cool!  The sparkly lace in particular made me happy!  I don't use large amounts of fabrics in most of my art pieces so this was just perfect for me!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
