TAST Sheaf stitch

Here is my humble sample of the sheaf stitch.  I really thought I had done this stitch previously but I couldn't find a sample of it anywhere in my work.  Nevertheless, I really like the stitch and I am glad to try have tried.  I found it simple to do and I like simple!

    You know, brown is not one of my favorite colors, but I have to say I really like this bit of CQ. And I love the simplicity of the feather stitch with the sheaf stitch next to it.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
