Work In Progress

Previously I had considered this block finished.  In reality I wasn't happy with it and was just tired of working on it.  This week I added the three mauve roses, top right.  I added some vintage handmade lace with rick rack, top left.   In the lower left I added the white lace heart and a handmade pansy I received in a swap.  Definitely some improvements.  I am still not completely happy with it but I am not giving up.

    I love the fabrics you have used in this block and the colours are great. The roses look good with the daisies and the lace is beautiful.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
