Take a stitch Tuesday Closed base needlewoven picot

Another dimensional stitch that I love!  I think I like it even better than stitch from last week.  I especially like that the stitches were very similar and therefore how to do them is cemented in my mind.

    I agree, it helps to 'cement' a stitch in one's memory when it is similar to last week's version.

    I like the textures and landscape appearance. Though both closed and open varities were good and each has their own use, I prefer the open.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
