This is my Jan. crazy quilt block. Funny, now that I am looking at the photo of it, I am not as happy with it. It needs a little more work. Sometimes I wonder if anything is ever truly finished!
If you feel that something is not right but you don't know what, why not leave it and solve the problem later. When these blocks have been joined into a quilt top you might want to add stitches near the seams.
Paper and fabric are my two faves, too! And your quilt top is very cool! I do the same thing...though I am not a quilter...sometimes I just never know when to quit...I just put it down and walk away from it. Seems to take on a whole new vision after a short period, and is easier to complete.
I feel like this has enough beading now. The beading enhances the kaleidoscope without obliterating it. I pushed myself outside of my box by using some bigger beads. I am always learning! I am on a scroll roll. This is the second one I started this week. I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces. I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours. These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would. That also feels good. Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly. I am linking to https://kathysquilts.blogspot.com/
