Take a stitch Tuesday Bullion Buttonhole

Thanks to Sharon B at http://pintangle.com/ for the instructions for this stitch.  I actually didn't find it terribly difficult even though Sharon described it as tricky.  However getting the wraps to lay nice a neat is tricky.  I managed to do that on a few of the stitches.  I even had a millners needle to use.  Totally surprised me to have one.  Turns out I got some in the big batch of things I inherited from my husband's aunt.  I will have to do another post about all the goodies I received from her.  I am blessed to overflowing!

  1. One way to help keep the wraps orderly is to hold them under your thumb until the thread is pulled all the way through. Sharon does something she calls tickling them with the needle, but I've not had as good luck with that.
