Take a stitch Tuesday

The zig zag chain stitch is a stitch that I have done previously.  It is simple and I really like it.  I added it to my July crazy quilt block pictured above.  I think rows and rows of it would look very cool but I didn't have the space to that on this block.  Maybe another time.

    I haven't used this stitch for a LONG time and it will be fun to rediscover it. I agree, it would make a nice filling stitch with rows upon rows.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
