Delightful days

Yesterday I had the pleasure to spend time with a lovely friend.  We went to see the Higher Ground exhibit done by the Connections fibre art group http://www.connectionsfibreartists.com/ at the Guelph Civic Museum.  It was an enjoyable show.
After the show we did a little shopping and then came back to my home to create.  We experimented with wrapping wire with fabric, thread, yarn and beads.  It was relaxing and fun to chatter as we created.  I think the wrapped wire has a lot of potential.  I can see myself stitching it on to a piece tightly coiled or in a loose spiral.

  1. Your wrapped thread looks great! I recently did a bit of wire wrapping too ( just eyelash yard around pipe cleaner) and used a few of them on the spine of a book I was working on.
