more of my altered book


The theme of my book is nature and these pages are obviously about the ocean.  I am super happy with the edges that I cut.  I used a french curbe to create the lines to cut.  I learned that from a mini workshop at http://visualblessings.blogspot.ca/   She does beautiful and inspiring work.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
