Take a stitch Tuesday Woven Cross stitch


This is a simple stitch.  Since it is new to me I tried out a sample first.  I actually am happier with my sample as I used a thicker thread.  I think it looks better.  Still I added it to my August crazy quilt block.  It looks alright but I think I might add another stitch to that seam.

    I love the Woven Cross stitch and it is good in combination with other stitches.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
