Take a stitch Tuesday Raised chain

I have to say when I first looked at the directions my assumption was that this would be time consuming and not really worth it.  I was very wrong.  It is a pretty simple stitch and not overly time consuming.  Definitely well worth the effort.  I am really glad that I used a variegated thread as that makes in even more interesting.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
