Treasure Hunt Thursday

It is so much fun for me to scour the thrift stores to treasure.  You just never know what you can find.  I cetainly don't need more stuff but...

I found this gorgeous hankie, place mat and tea cup at thrift stores.  Don't you just want to come over for a tea party?  I think I better invite some girl friends over for a little tea and gab fest!

    Nice finds! Since I moved, I haven't yet found a good second-hand shop. Guess I'll have to use my stash instead.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
