Work in Progress Wednesday

I am calling this block finished.  I marvel at the way people embellish their crazy quilt blocks.  Some are so ornate and encrusted.    I tell myself that I SHOULD do my blocks that way.  SHOULD is a dirty word though.  A friend shared a fun quote with me once - I won't should on you, if you won't should on me.  I really like that!  I have decided that I won't should on myself either.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
