Work in Progress Wednesday

I had really hoped to have this  'skirt' finished for today.  It still needs a fair amount of work though.  Eventually it will be attached to my crazy quilt bodice.  I see it as a winter fairy dress.  I am excited to get it all finished.

    I can picture that fairy flitted through the garden, her skirts undulating behind her, leaving wisps of soft colour behind....

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
