Bead journal progress

Here is my bead journal project for March.  I have incorporated two different beaded embroidery stitches thus far.  I would really like to add at least one more.  I am working on a needle felted background and I don't want to cover it entirely with beads.  However I do want to add a bit more stitching and beads.

    There is nice contrast in the muted felt and the shiny metallic thread.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
