Take a Stitch Tuesday Alternating Buttonholed Cable Chain

I chose to do the Alternating Buttonholed Cable Chain this week.  Sharon B at http://pintangle.com/ shows how to do it and the Buttonholed Cable Chain for this week and next.  I think I was supposed to start with the Buttonholed stitch and then move to the alternating Buttonholed but I made a very long cable chain.  There was no way I was going to have time to do the whole thing today if I didn't alternate.  In the photo it looks like I am finished but that is only about half way.  I do feel confident that I will be able to get this finished today.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
