Take a stitch Tuesday Beaded Butterfly chain stitch


The Beaded Butterfly chain stitch is the stitch Sharon B at http://pintangle.com/ shares this week.  The top  two photos are the same stitch but not beaded.  I have added these stitches to my crazy quilt from last year. I would dearly love to have my two large crazy quilts completed in time to be in the Quilt Festival this May.  There really isn't that much left to do so if I do a little every week I should be able to meet that goal.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
