I heart Macro

Rust and pealing paint.  What's not to love!  I have spent many a happy hour shooting macro photos of rust and pealing paint in a wrecking yard.  It must sound kind of weird but I don't care.  I get a lot of pleasure creating these abstract images.  It is about creating beauty from something that is destroyed but was once someone's dream.

Why should we not be able to see beauty in something that is deteriorating? It is simply a change, and not always for the worse.

I do love to see rust "blossoming"… beautiful colors! Thanks for sharing the love up-close with I Heart Macro:-)

Pretty colors, and lending opportunity for the imagination, in the lower right corner I see a cartoon figure of a child.
