Take a stitch Tuesday

This is the start of my bead journal project for June.  I thought I would try out the beaded feathered chain stitch that Sharon B at http://pintangle.com/ taught us last week.  I used a round bead and I didn't stitch in a zig zag pattern.  I used a Kreinik thread that is metallic and almost looks like little beads.

    That is a great thread for beaded stitches! Are the beads actually flattened, almost like buttons?

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
