Take a stitch Tuesday
The Long Tail Chain is the stitch for this week. Sharon B at http://pintangle.com/ gives great instructions for it. I was thrilled to find the time to sit outside in the beautiful sunshine and stitch this pretty stitch. I stitched a flower in pink rayon thread in the upper right of this photo. I also stitched some peach buds along the feather stitch. I want to add a bunch more as well but that will take a bit of time. I thought I better get this posted now or I might not get to it all this week.
Life has been pretty busy lately. Yesterday we, as in the Grand Guild of Fibre Artists, hung our show at the Mill in St. Jacobs. It looks fabulous! I am thrilled to be a part of such a diverse and talented group. If you live in the area and can find the time to get out there, it is worth the drive. The show goes until Saturday.

This stitch is wonderful for flowers, and can be combined with a lot of other stitches, too. I like the use of ribbon for the stems.
