Work in Progress Wednesday

This block is closed to finished.  I received so many nice comments about the orange flowers that I decided to keep them.  To make them stand out less to me I added some more orange flowers sprinkled throughout. Now I am not liking the light colored lace on the right.  It seems too light to me so I might add more color to it.  Just not sure how at the moment.

    Adding a sprinkling of orange throughout you have got better balance. You could try adding a bit of purple to the light coloured lace.

    The flowers look great! Is the light lace a solid colour? Everything else seems to be variegated or multi-coloured, so maybe if you add bits of your background colours to the light lace, it'll blend in a bit more.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
