Take a stitch Tuesday

The double Herringbone instructions can be found at http://pintangle.com/  Sharon is so generous with her time and talents.  I love learning a new stitch from her weekly.
The top photo is my attempt at the double Herringbone.  I stitched the second part of the stitch rather close to the first Herringbone.  It doesn't look like Sharon's sample but I will call it a variation.  I am good at variations!  Since it didn't seem exactly right I thought why not explore a bit.  So I added a third set of Herringbone stitches thus making a triple rather than a double.  I quite like it.

Three cheers for variations! The spacing can be difficult but then you get a new variety instead!
