Take a Stitch Tuesday


The top photo is my attempt at closed Herringbone stitch.    Bottom photo is my attempt at Woven chained bar stitch.  I still have some weaving to finish on that.  I was getting a little tired of doing but will hopefully get it finished in the next day or so.

    I love your closed herringbone stitch! The weaving sounds time consuming for the woven chained bar stitch. You are braver than I am, using a metallic floss! I look forward to seeing it when it is done.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
