Work in Progress Wednesday

I added  a part of a doily to the upper right corner and some more beading to this piece.  I am thinking it is time to get moving on my Sept. CQ block even though there is a bit more that could be added to this block.

    When I saw this block last week, I misunderstood you, and thought you wanted to change the top LEFT piece because of its light colour. I suggested using net or something to slightly darken it. Then I realised your problem was with the dark piece on the RIGHT!
    Now, I think what you have done by placing the dolly there, you have killed two birds with one stone, so to say. Both upper corner pieces are in better balance and the whole block is looking great. Well done!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
