I heart Macro

I bought this slice of a shell so that I could do rubbings with it.  Oh how I love the spiral shape!  I took this shell down from the shelf the other day to clean it and the shelf.  Go figure, me cleaning!  I realized as I set it down that should capture its beauty in a photograph.  I am pleased with it.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
