Work in Progress Wednesday

This is an experimental piece.  I have been adding embroidery stitches to it as I learn new ones.  I have no idea when it will be finished, maybe never.  I can see myself adding stitches to this for a very long time!

    This is an interesting way to try different stitches. The fabric you are stitching on is so pretty.

    What is wrong with long term projects? I think this will just grow more and more beautiful as you add stitches, although it is already looking great!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
