Self Portrait

Not quite finished but a really good start here.  I think I would like to add a few more wisps of hair .  I actually like this a lot more than I thought I was going to.  We did this as a hands on workshop at our guild meeting this morning.

    A fantastic way to make a (self) portrait. I think you can add a bit more hair if you want to!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
