Work in Progress Wednesday

I am still working on my fabric book.  This page features some textured leaves.  It has inspired me and is making me think about doing a bigger piece that will feature leaves.  I am thinking about the forest floor.  That project will have to sit on the back burner though as I have enough on plate at the moment.

    There are so many shapes of leaves there is no end to inspiration. You have used beautiful metallic fabric.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
