February Bead journal

I went for wintery colors for this piece.  I also incorporated another vintage earring.  Hours and hours of stitching go into these pieces.  It is a good thing I find hand stitching so relaxing!  Again this piece will go on my crazy quilt project for the month.  I will have all four seasons covered by the time I finish.

    Oh, Angela! This looks like a confectionary, St Valentine chocolate with crystallised cherries, blueberries, mint, stawberries... you name it. It is so beautiful!

    I used to love stitching tiny beads, but my hands and eyes won't cooperate any more. This is lovely! Thanks for sharing the love up-close with I Heart Macro:-)

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
