Work in Progress Wednesday

I have been adding some seam treatments to this.  I created the three blocks last year.  I have now put them together and where they are joined needs some decorating.  I am hoping I can get this completely finished before next month.  The St. Jacobs quilt show is coming and I need to have some fresh work to hang!

    You have a lot of beautiful lace here so the seam treatment is halfway done! The embroidered seams will add good balance.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
