I heart Macro

Oh how I do love macro!  I saved for quite a while to get my macro lens but boy was it worth it!  I use that lens more than any other.  I was pleased to capture this dandelion with one last seed on it.  I know many think of dandelions as weeds but I like their bright yellow.  And who doesn't like blowing all the seeds off while making a wish!  And remembering the beautiful bouquets my sons would bring home for me!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
