Work in Progress Wednesday

This something a bit different for me.  I started by adhering doilies to a canvas and then painting the whole thing.  I machine quilted it and then got stuck.  It sat for quite a while before I knew where to go with it.  I have added the circles and some hand embroidery.  I want to add more embroidery and then it should be finished.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
