Stitching as mark making

I think the stitching adds interest to this monoprint.  Truthfully the print isn't all that interesting without it!  The silk thread is a dream to use in stitching as is the silk fabric.  I am not sure if I will add more stitching or leave it as is.

  2. I like it as is, very subtle. Might make a good background for a simple shape of some sort too :-)

  3. Great circles, what type of silk thread are you using?

    1. I have used a few different brands; Kreinik, Splendor by Rainbow Gallery and another brand I don't remember the name.

  5. I like the simplicity of this piece. One can imagine the circles as bubbles floating in the air.

Thanks so much for linking up to last week's Stitchery Link Party. I do hope you'll come join in again soon.
