The last seam!

Not sure why it has taken me so long to get around to finishing this.  Well at least finishing the embellishing, the fun part.  I will still need to put a backing and border on it which is not terribly exciting but it sure feels good once done.  I used a seam treatment idea from Valerie Bothell on Facebook at Joyful Embellishments.  She is very clever and it is good for me to learn from her!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
