Some Experimentation

I love leaves.  I have said that numerous times on this blog.  Here I have made a print of leaves from the tree in my backyard.  I have been experimenting with this printmaking process and would like to develop it into an article for a magazine.  Someone who does true nature printing would not be satisfied with the results.  I, however love the soft, impressionistic quality to it.  I think with added stitching it could turn into something spectacular!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
