August Bead Journal
Not so much a journal. I decided to bead my jeans. I think they will be fun to wear to the Bead Embroidery class I will be teaching at the Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery this fall. https://www.kwag.ca/en/programs/AdultClasses.asp
I had thought I would totally encrust the cuffs of these jeans but decided against that. They are already quite heavy. Pictured above you can see the front of one leg and the back of the other leg. The front and back are basically the same on each leg.

Wow! Those are going to be some spectacular jeans.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. The texture and subtle color variations are stunning. Bet you receive many positive and inquisitive comments from your students as they each notice the beadwork on your jeans.
ReplyDeleteExcellent idea. Wonderful and so serendipitous, I'm writing about beads and denim.
ReplyDeleteYes! Plus anyone with a blog named Princess Bubbles must have gems on her jeans :-)
ReplyDeleteFabulous idea and totally fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try bead embroidery on felt to attach to a purse or lay on a candlemat. TFS
