July crazy quilt block

I think this experiment worked alright.  Stitching with paper can be a challenge but I think it was worth the effort.  I definitely prefer to stitch on  paper that has more of a fabric type feel to it, like some Japanese papers.  Still my constant curiousity leads me down different paths and enjoy it.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
