Take a stitch Tuesday

Sharon is doing the Herringbone stitch this week.  I looked up the definition and it says this stitch must be perfectly regular.  Haha!  I don't do anything perfectly spaced and regular.  Here I stitched on handmade paper with a silver fleck in it.  I used Kreinik hologram thread to stitch.  It is unfortunate that the shine is so elusive to the camera.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
