Work in Progress Wednesday

I have picked out my fabrics for my August crazy quilt block.  A friend gave me the fairy fabric and a couple of others so I want to create a piece for her.  I am blessed to have such a beautiful friend in my life!  I am eager to get started on this even though I haven't quite finished my July block.  It is very close to being finished though.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
